Sure, travel may be halted right now, but the good news is that our industry will soon be experiencing a massive reboot, thanks to the vaccination rollout, and stringent health and safety protocols that we will see everywhere.
That’s right, all these efforts will help boost confidence among travel consumers and will get them booking trips again.
If you are like me and have that strong desire to travel, hang in there, travel in Canada is expected to open back up strong this summer and later this year it is anticipated that international travel will really take off.
In the meantime, we all need to stay positive and find ways to get inspired.
If you are looking for true inspiration, then I am highly advising you to join the Find Your Flock Challenge Summit – an initiative that connects food and travel lovers together. Now you can rediscover exciting and new experiences and travel tends involving food and wine.
The Find Your Flock, which kicks-off today (Monday, April 26, 2021), is a free, 5-day virtual experience that will get you thinking about what you love around food and travel and is being hosted by Chef Dario Tomaselli and Rich Life Strategist, Anita Heidema.
The 5-day event is valued at $879, but it’s free and gives you access to top experts from around the world who are in the know on the wine and food fronts, like a Michelin Star Chef Amalfi Coast, Italian Wine Sommelier, top travel experts, and more!

I am very happy to be a part of this experience and I will be offering my expertise too!
Human spirit is one of adventure
The central theme for this innovative experience is food, wine, and travel lover empty nesters.
Does the house feel empty? Lonely? Boring?
Are you feeling uninspired since you’ve become an empty nester? Or perhaps you’re about to become an empty nester?
“Yes, we have all been there, and we know how difficult it can be when the kids leave home to start the next chapter of their lives and you begin yours,” says Chef Dario.
“We remember the days when all we did revolved around the children, and we loved every minute of it. All the activities in the early years, and then the teenage years hit and as they were involved with their friends more, we were busier than ever. Now they’ve each started new chapters in their lives, away from home,” he says.
Now as empty nesters we’re left to say – “now what?”
“We found ourselves doing things just to be busy, but not really enjoying them. Remember all the things you love and all the things you wanted to do on your bucket list. It’s time to stop going through the motions and time to start living our dreams again,” says Anita.
“We started to create activities that made us busy to numb the emptiness we felt but not really enjoying things we wanted to do and living inspired together,” she says.
“Now is the time to get inspired and have some fun with friends and break bread with a like-minded community. With this 5-day challenge you can open the doors to a new beginning and chapter in your life,” adds Anita.
I will be speaking about my 15 years in the travel industry, along with other top experts from the food and travel industry who will share all the top trends with you, including the hottest travel spots for the rest of this year and into 2022 and the best wines to pair with all your meals.
I truly believe that travel will bounce back very soon and some of the top places in the world are already booking up for 2022, so now is certainly the time to look at booking your travel experience for the next year and beyond.
Travel will look different. I will be sharing my travel experiences that I have in the works, such as a Vietnam experience for foodies with Chef Massimo Capra in 2022, and a Christmas Market River Cruise for Christmas Market Lovers in November 2021.
So, what are you waiting for? Get inspired by food and wine around travel and get ready to soon take flight.
As I say, dream now, book now, and Travel Later!
